The Holy Biscuit is the newest addition to The Biscuit Factory’s growing family… located opposite The Biscuit Factory in a refurbished Methodist Church, this little sister space provides an alternative venue for exhibitions and events and loves nothing better than supporting the local community by providing a platform for cultural and creative activities. The Holy Biscuit is 5 minutes walk from Manors and Jesmond metro stations and with parking for up to 40 cars, is easily accessible. With kitchen facilities catering for parties is simple, with full wi-fi throughout the building meetings are easier and with an on-hand events co-ordinator we’ll take the stress out of. Flotsam and Jetsam Exhibition// 9-12 September 2011
Walker Challenge Group present an exhibition created and inspired by found environmental materials made possible by receiving funding from Ecominds grant scheme. Ecominds funds environmental projects that help people with experience of mental distress get involved in local green activities to improve confidence, self-esteem and physical health.
The Flotsam & Jetsam Tour builds upon their past experience of outdoor projects by adding an environmental focus. The group are currently working towards The John Muir Trust Award. www.johnmuiraward.org.
