Our current exhibiting artists include

• The Workshop of Tim SteadTim Stead was Scotland's leading contemporary furniture designer, and after his death in 1999 his workshop continues to develop his original designs, handmade from native hardwoods. Prices start at £300.
• Daniel EvansDaniel Evans is a Newcastle-based furniture maker working with both native and exotic hardwoods. His work is underpinned by a desire to allow the materials used to speak for themselves and he creates unique, contemporary pieces that are both stylish and functional.
  Prices start from £200.
• Brian BarnesBrian uses a variety of timbers both native and exotic and make mostly practical pieces for the home. To balance this production he turn bowls and tables selecting woods to show their beauty and form. Brian Barnes is now based locally, and produces a great range of wooden artworks from a complete range of colourful fruits, to unique vessels and furniture.

• Ben AtkinsonBorn in York in 1974, In 1995 he moved to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to study BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design at the University of Northumbria. After graduating he was invited to return to the University as a Designer in Residence. This 2-year honorary fellowship allowed him the opportunity to continue working within the field of furniture design, both with students, and with his own clients. In 1999 Ben established his own business providing hand-made contemporary furniture.
