What do red dots mean?
It means the artwork has been purchased by one of our customers, but we would like to exhibit it a little while longer.
What do green/blue dots mean?
It means the item is on reserve for a customer for a limited period of time.
How do I buy something?
Ask at the main desk for help, you can usually take the artwork away with you. You can place a reserve againt a piece and we ask for a %10 non-refundable deposit.
How can I pay?
By using all major credit and debit cards, cash ,cheque with a cheque guarantee card, gift vouchers or by using the Own Art Scheme.
What is Own Art?
It is a ten month interest free payment plan. It is easy to set up, all you need is proof of identity which can be your bank or credit card, proof of address (utility bill, driving licence – NOT passport) and the bank account details for the monthly direct debit.
I’m buying a present, can you gift wrap my artwork?
Yes, we do have gift wrapping available for which there is a small cover charge of £2.50.
I’d like to buy an unframed print, where can I get this framed?
We offer a bespoke framing service. Mouldings are available to view opposite the main desk, please ask staff for help and information on pricing.
Can I hold events here?
Yes, the gallery is a very flexible space, we can cater for most needs. We can also hire out the Factory Kitchen and Glass House for events. Speak to a member of staff for advice and quotes.
Can I get something to eat here?
Yes, we have a cafe called The Factory Kitchen with roof terrace on the first floor for casual lunches and relaxed evening drinks, and we also have David Kennedy's Food Social for more formal dining.
Are you fully accessible?
Yes, we have a lift within David Kennedy's Food Social which takes you up to the first floor, as well as to the studio levels. Studios are only open to the public on Open Studio Weekends. There is a ramp leading from the car park into the restaurant.
