It means the artwork has been purchased by one of our customers, but we would like to exhibit it a little while longer.
It means the item is on reserve for a customer for a limited period of time
Ask at the main desk for help, you can usually take the artwork away with you. You can also reserve items free of charge while you think about it.
By using all major credit and debit cards, cash ,cheque with a cheque guarantee card, gift vouchers or by using the Own Art Scheme.
Own Art is a ten month interest free payment plan. It is easy to set up, all you need is proof of identity which can be your bank or credit card, proof of address (utility bill, driving licence – NOT passport) and the bank account details for the monthly direct debit.
Gift wrapping (which there is a small cover charge of £2.50), wedding lists, delivery, framing and more. Ask staff at the main desk for any other information.
Yes, the gallery is a very flexible space, we can cater for most needs. We offer a variety of Venue Hire options and can also hire out the Café and Glass House for events. Speak to Kievah Paxton for advice and quotes.
Yes, we have a Café with roof terrace on the first floor for casual lunches and relaxed evening drinks, and we also have the Black Door Brasserie for more formal dining.
Yes, we have a lift within the Black Door Brasserie which takes you up to the first floor, as well as to the studio levels. Studios are only open to the public on Open Studio Weekends. There is a ramp leading from the car park into the restaurant.
Bus services 2 and 16 come along Stoddart St, and there are numerous services that stop on New Bridge St, less than 2 minutes walk from the Biscuit Factory. These include bus numbers: 12, 39, 40, 62 and 63 which can be caught near Monument in the city centre.
