Harriet gains a lot of aesthetic pleasure from manipulating simple line; by repeating, rotating and aligning linear designs into immersing, fluid patterns. This is a driving inspiration in much of her practice and is a constant element in her work.

Harriet's pieces are created using various techniques, such as using laser cut models from her own designs to shape the form, or using water erosion techniques to score layers of colour into the surface of the work. She likes to create simple forms and bold block colours keeping the overall aesthetics of the work simple whilst using repetition or lighting to highlight detail.
