The Artist: Paresh Nrshinga
Within the wild, exotic and mystic beauty of Kenya, the spirit of an artist was born. Paresh Nrshinga was born in the 1960’s in Kenya, in 1970 he moved to England.By the age of six Paresh was absorbing colours, movements and sounds transforming them into expressions and motions into his sketchbooks.
By 1984, he studied Art and Architecture at Gateway College, Leicester and later extended his studies in Art and Design at Leicester Polytechnic.
His extensive travels around the world combined with his spirituality influence his unique paintings and masterpieces of an original talent.
Influenced by artists such as Jackson Pollock, Brice Marden, Andy Warhol and Klimt, his paintings reflect his flirtation with abstract expressionism.
When you view Paresh’s paintings you will feel how strongly he expresses his feelings, memories and struggles. Through his passion for music he developed a unique flair of transferring and transforming the energy of sound onto the canvas in the form of colour and movement, thus creating vibrant visual effects.
