The Artist: Anthony Marshall

Anthony Marshall presents the world from his unique perspective. Drawing his inspiration from the observation of everyday life, people and various things around him. His artistic touch is unusual and distinctive, injecting cosmopolitan colour into everyday scenes. 

Marshall has an individual use of colour - naturalistic rendering of reality is substituted for bold exclamations of bright colour coupled with occasional splashes of expressionism. 

 “I depend on the bright clean colours that acrylic gives me, allied to line and form and using multi-plane perspective. I strive to achieve a personal and hopefully unique interpretation of the contemporary world around us. I feel that colour is the lifeblood of the painting”.
